Making interdepartmental collaboration measurable

A simple principle with major impact

Relynk shows whether your departments truly deliver to one another what they need to do good work — and translates internal collaboration into a clear management KPI.

This allows you to identify early where internal collaboration works, where friction arises, and at which hand-off points time, quality, and customer satisfaction are lost.

How Relynk works

Departments define what they need from one another, align requirements in a binding way, and then regularly evaluate the actual input / contribution. This makes internal collaboration measurable, comparable, and actively manageable for managers.

Important:

A weak evaluation does not mean that a department is doing poor work. It shows that the downstream department did not receive what it would have needed in order to keep working reliably.

Relynk does not identify someone to blame; it identifies concrete improvement needs at hand-off points.

What you actually see in Relynk

Dashboard

Two KPIs at the top, three operational action areas below: the dashboard makes reliability, risks, and next steps immediately visible.

Requirements

With Relynk, requirements are described and agreed exactly where collaboration arises: at the hand-off point between the customer department and the supplier department.

The overlay on the right side of the screen guides users step by step through selecting the internal supplier, description, criteria, and evaluation cycle.

With “Align”, the requirement enters the binding alignment process with the partner department.

Process map

The process map shows where requirements have already been agreed, where they are still being clarified, and where conflicts exist.

For executive management, this is a direct signal of which hand-off points may require decisions or moderation.

Reliability map

The reliability map visualizes how reliably individual departments work from the perspective of their internal customers.

This gives leaders a clear view of collaboration — both within individual areas and across the company as a whole.

From task status to evaluation by the recipients

Relynk adds the decisive question to “done”: Was it usable?

Asana, Jira, Teams, and similar tools show whether a task has been completed. Relynk goes one step further: the department that needs to continue working with the result evaluates whether the input / contribution truly fit the need.

This turns a simple status into a reliable management picture: Which requirements were understood? Where do hand-offs work reliably? And where do questions, rework, or new alignment loops arise despite completed tasks?

Relynk makes visible what traditional task tools usually do not show: whether work between departments actually has an impact.

Relynk is made for companies where …

  • tasks are completed, but questions still arise afterwards
  • information arrives too late, incomplete, or incorrect
  • handovers trigger new rounds of coordination
  • rework occurs, even though “everything was actually delivered”
  • teams complete their own tasks, but others still cannot move forward
  • the same interface problems keep coming up in meetings
  • managers deal with individual cases instead of seeing structural patterns
  • customers feel problems that should have been visible internally much earlier
